Verification glossary

Definitions used across the registry, written to keep evidence strength and claim scope visible.

Audited track record

A performance record whose published metrics have been recalculated against the evidence package for a defined account and period. It remains limited to that account and period.

Account or broker record

A statement or export showing account activity, positions, equity, and cash flows. Completeness and continuity determine how much it can support.

Total return

Percentage change over a defined period, adjusted for external cash flows where the available data permits.

Maximum drawdown

The largest peak-to-trough decline in equity during the covered period.

Sharpe ratio

A risk-adjusted return measure based on the available return series and stated sampling frequency.

Win rate

Positive closed trades divided by total closed trades in the period.

Trade count

The number of closed positions represented by the record.

Cross-reference

An independent publication that supports the same specific claim, such as a championship result for the named division and period.

WCTC

World Cup Trading Championships. AuditedTrader uses its published results to cross-reference O'Neill's 2025 Annual, Q3, and October Monthly Forex results.

Cryptographic publication evidence

A hash and trusted timestamp that can establish when matching material existed. It does not independently prove performance.

Self-reported

A claim supported only by the claimant's marketing, screenshot, or unverifiable summary.

Claim scope

The entity, account, product, period, and evidence category to which a figure belongs.

Material correction

A change that affects the meaning, source, value, identity, or evidential status of a public claim and is logged on the corrections page.
